I am the father of the bride, based on our rewarding experiences at The Overlook at KC Bison Ranch and our stay at Sunset Lodge on the property I feel compelled to write a review. My daughter and now son-in-law made the selection of The Overlook after visiting countless venues in the area and were married last Saturday on the property. The venue and the staff delivered on their promises and we could not have been more satisfied. Attention to the smallest details that they understood were important to us were not missed, communication throughout the day was amazing and made it so simple and convenient for my wife and the bride and groom. All of the recommended vendors that we used delivered above and beyond. A special thanks to Kim, Kadie and Ashley who pampered our family and the groom's family, we appreciate all of your advice, kindness and care that made the wedding even more of an event to remember. Another note, we took advantage of the newly added Lodges that are on the KC Bison Ranch property. Just minutes from the venue and 20ish minutes to downtown they are so convenient for parents or close family. We stayed in the Sunset Lodge with 5 bedrooms and 5 baths which made it great for extended guests as each room was a suite. The unit functioned well for family style gatherings leading up to the wedding day. A special thanks to Matt and Chuck who made it easy at a joyous but stressful time. In closing I would like to give a shout out to Devin and Caleb with Deep South Fireworks who created a sendoff for the newlyweds that will be talked about for years to come. My wife and I were so happy we decided to add this offering, it brought back so many memories and created new ones. In closing, I would not change anything. And sad, you can't say that much these days.
